Last year proved to be a momentous one, but 2010 is shaping up to be even bigger in terms of major strategic issues with important implications for players.
Looking back over 2009 there were some concerning developments but also some very good gains for the players.
In the latter half of the year, despite strong opposition from the then leading party, a
majority of the current sack holders overthrew the leading party instating a new
democratic leadership. Their aim was to bring a level playing field to the game for
all players involved, and to rid the Linkshell of the corruption that had plagued
the Linkshell over the previous few years.
The new leadership had to start from scratch as the “mismanaged” bank
disappeared as well as the bank holder. Nobody knew where he went,
but rumors soon arose when he was sighted in Gha Naboh, in the
company of several young male Mithra’s. It wasn’t until after the first
month that the Linkshell as a whole realised the magnitude of the
corruption within the past leadership.
Since then the Linkshell has florished, and for the first time,
Christmas presents were actually placed under many of the
players trees this past festive season. Yep, there was no Grinch
this year, we made sure of that.
So with 2010 now upon us, I wish you all a safe and prosperous
new year, and let the items keep droppin’
– Banksage

I’m sorry to start this entry on a downer, but our favourite mule has got himself in a small legal bind. It seems that Facebook may not have been the smartest thing for Banksage to have joined. It seems that in a drunken haze one Firesday night, he and Ms Brianna Banksage** wed. Soon after she left him, something to do with seeing a Mithra called Linaly. Well all hell broke loose and Banksage had to get a Mutual Restraining Order (as seen here) put in place. We’ll keep you updated on what happens after the next hearing.
So on to happier things. As hard as we try, we are still unable to get Puretoker killed… and trust me, we put him in very uncomfortable places… like the back of a Volkswagen. We had hoped that Dark Ixion may fulfil our desires to dance on his corpse, but as you can see…

Finishing off this entry, congratulations to Nightsage on finishing his Apocalypse.
